Mission Viejo Girls Softball

Welcome to the MVGS Spring 2025 registration!  We welcome girls of all skill levels ages 4.5 - 14 years old. 

Please read through each page carefully and provide all requested information.  Space is limited, based on the number of managers, don't wait to register!  Divisions may fill up and players may be put on a waitlist, and being placed on a team is not guaranteed. 

Skills Evaluation Day: January 2025 date and field TBD.  We will send an email out confirming the date and location by early December

SEASON DETAILS: important dates

• Our Spring season will run late January to early May
• January - skills day, coaches clinic and bust the rust - be on the look out for final dates to be announced in early December
• 1st week of games Tentatively February 1st
• 6U: 1 mid-week practice and 1 game
• 8U-14U: 2 practices per week and 2 games per week (see below)
• Mid-Season Tournament: March - dates TBD
• Golf Tournament March 15, 2025 - SAVE THE DATE
• End of Season Tournament: Tentatively last weekend in April 24th - 27th
• End of Season Parade: Tentatively May 2nd
• Angels Day: May 4th 2025

GAME DAYS:

• 6U: possible Monday or Saturday
• 8U: Tuesday & Saturday
• 10U: Wednesday & Saturday
• 12U: Thursday & Saturday
• 14U: Double-headers on Saturday

PRICING:

• 6U:
  • Early bird through 11/18/24: $129
  • Regular price through12/30/24: $159
  • Late pricing starting 1/01/25: $179

• 8U - 14U:
  • Early bird through 11/18/24: $279
  • Regular price through 12/30/24: $299
  • Late pricing starting 1/01/25 $359

***please note 24 hours before and through skills day pricing will be flat fee of $399

UNIFORMS:

• 6U-14U: includes a jersey,  pants and 1 pair of socks

DIVISION BIRTH YEARS:

6u: 9/1/2017 to 7/31/2020

8u: 9/1/2015 to 8/31/2017 

10u: 9/1/2013 to 8/31/2015 

12u: 9/1/2011 to 8/31/2013 

14u: 9/1/2009 to 8/31/2011

TEAMS:

• We will hold a skills evaluation day and a draft for our 8U-14U divisions to ensure balanced teams.
• Carpool and friend requests are only considered in the 6U division.
   

PLAY-UP REQUESTS:

• Only 6U to 8U play-up requests will be considered!
• If your child played up in Fall 2024, they must be reevaluated to play up in Spring 2025 at our Skills Evaluation Day.
• Register your child in the 6U division and add your request to play-up in the comments section of this registration and email the league registrar with your request, elihaynes06@yahoo.com. (no request forms needed at this time)
• The determination to play-up will be made by our Director of Training.

Please note that there may be additional costs incurred at the discretion of your team including, but not limited to: team sponsorship, banner/pennants, "fun" socks, hair bows, after game snacks, team parties.
